What Does The Qualification Cover?
Our level 3 Apprenticeship I Customer Service has been designed for learners to demonstrate a practiced set of skills when carrying out customer service operations including managing performance improvements in service delivery, customer satisfaction, customer loyalty and reliability. The qualification will develop the learner’s knowledge and understanding of customer retention and the principles of business.
Is This Apprenticeship Right for Me?
The Level 3 will suit you if you have some experience in customer service and are able to handle more difficult customers. You are looking to improve your own skills and become more involved in making improvements to your team's level of customer service for defined service related activities within an area of responsibility. The course is suitable for those looking to progress in to a wide range of sectors including retail, financial services, hospitality, sport and recreation, telecommunications and travel and tourism.
What Does The Course Comprise?
The Apprenticeship at level 2 comprises:
- Level 3 Diploma in Customer Service
- Functional Skills
How Many Credits Are Required To Complete Them?
The course is made up of a number of Mandatory units supplemented by Optional units. Learners earn credits for each unit enabling them to meet the required number of credits to complete the course candidates have to complete a minimum of 65 credits. Units include: organise and deliver customer service, understand the customer service environment, resolve customers problems, principles of business, understand customers and customer retention and manage personal and professional development.
How Long Will The Course Take To Achieve?
The level 3 qualification will take around 12-18 months to complete.
How Will I Be Assessed?
Assessment will take place by regular observation in the workplace, portfolio building of assignments, observation of work based activities and written case studies
What Type Of Job Roles Can You Apply For On Completion?
These qualifications can help you get ahead in almost any industry, as good customer-service skills are essential for many jobs. Potential job roles for those working towards this this qualification are: Customer Service Supervisor/Team Leader, Events Co-ordinator, Customer Relationship Manager and Customer Service Manager.
What Qualifications Can You Progress To?
Candidates can progress on to a Level 4 Diploma in Customer Service, Level 3 Certificate in Principles of Management, Level 3 Diploma in Management and other relevant qualifications.
What Are The Entry Requirements?
There are no formal entry requirements, but candidates should be educated to level 1, must be working in the field and must be working over 30 hours per week. All candidates will need to undertake a literacy & numeracy assessment prior to starting the apprenticeship training.
